Monastery NS – Slim O’Callaghan

Slim O’Callaghan is in his early eighties. He is a very well-known, sociable character. A painter and decorator by trade, Slim is best known as a musician and band member. Slim recalls the showband era of the fifties and the days when the Tower Ballroom was in its heyday. A great raconteur, Slim has many memories of his travels around Ireland and Britain with the band.
